Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees of the Central European Biomedical Congress (CEBC), it is our great pleasure to invite you to join the 5 th CEBC held from May 29 till June 1, 2023, in Krakow, Poland. This is the fourth time as Krakow hosts a biennial congress organized by the two local scientific institutions – the Maj Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University Medical College. The Congress in 2023 builds on the success of the 4 th CEBC 2021 on-line meeting with over 500 participants and the in-person events at 2 nd and 3 rd CEBC, each attracting over 300 participants from more than 20 countries.
The 5 th CEBC is organized around the theme “ Future trends in health interventions ”. Key health trends, original biomarkers, novel approaches in diagnostics as well as innovative treatment strategies will be highlighted by a specially selected line-up of world experts to deliver plenary lectures and keynote session. Congress also promotes opportunities for junior scientists to present research in oral or poster sessions.
