Established in 1987, Central Florida Woodturners is an organization created to provide local woodturners with woodturning demonstrations, information, and ongoing education while sharing in a social and interactive environment. We want to promote the art of woodturning as a skill for all ages!
Central Florida Woodturners meet monthly and host a variety of special events throughout the year. We meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at Woodcraft of Orlando . During our meetings we have a SHOW and TELL where members show and explain one of their turnings. We also hold WOOD AUCTION S that can get pretty lively (!)…And then we have a LIVE DEMONSTRATION by a reknowned wood turner.
