We have been overjoyed with the progress our son Grady has made through the use of teletherapy. Since his transition to remote therapy this spring, he has mastered a number of new skills that were previously seen as impossible to him. These have included breakthroughs with jumping rope, riding his bike, handwriting, and more. As each of these hurdles were cleared, we saw an increase in self confidence that wasn’t present in him before. And that has led to gains with water activities this summer such as swim
Some of the greatest wins for us have occurred in teletherapy because of how engaged we can be within his sessions. By watching, listening, and interacting in the sessions we’ve developed new skills and techniques to coach and support Grady. The results have been increases in our effectiveness at communicating with Grady each day.
