I am a recording and mixing engineer from Chico, CA. I've worked on records for Armed For Apocalypse , Fialta , Dustin Ruth , The Shimmies , TV Heads , Cold Blue Mountain , Kyle Williams , Amarock , Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy , the performance audio from the David Bazan documentary Strange Negotiations (still in production) as well as many others.
I taught myself how to record during my stint as guitarist in the Emo/Pop-Punk band Number One Gun (Tooth and Nail Records) as an outlet for songs written in a different vein. After the band dissolved, NOG drummer Jordan Mallory and I began writing and recording under the name Surrogate and eventually released the self-produced Love Is For The Rich on Tooth And Nail Records in 2007.
