It is estimated that around one million vehicles on our roads have no proper insurance. And that’s a pretty scary thought, isn’t it? So if we are unfortunate enough to find ourselves involved in an accident, there is quite a big chance that the other vehicle/s will not even have any legal cover!
Considering how our police have all of the necessary tools to catch these illegal drivers (i.e. number plate recognition equipment), it kind of makes you wonder why they don’t have a big crackdown…
This would certainly ease up the congestion on our roads and reduce the cost of our own car insurance!
