Cinepartners Entertainment is an independent, full-service film production company located in Budapest, Hungary. We produce and coproduce international and Hungarian movies. Along with Shadow Productions Kft. we also produce student short films. These are written, directed by Budapest Film Academy student filmmakers. We combine North American financing with European private and public funding, as well as Hungarian tax-based financing. Our movies have been distributed by various international sales companies
In our feature-length anthology we will have four Edgar Allan Poe stories – reimagined. Based on the master’s original shorts and poems we brought his colorful, dark and unpredictable ideas to a new and modern environment. Out of the 4 short films, 3 multiple award-winning films are already finished.
“Legacy” is based on Ambrose Bierce’s renowned novel “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge” which takes place during the American Civil War. Our film puts this story into a World War II setting in Hungary. Our film production company will start preproduction in the fall of 2022 for the feature-length version.
