The City of Norborne is located in Carroll County and was founded in 1868 by Norborne B. Coates, a civil engineer for the railroad. In the 2010 Census the population was 708. Norborne is the self-proclaimed Soybean Capital of the World and holds a festival every year in August. We have numerous small businesses but are mostly an agricultural community.
