The Canadian Journal of Midwifery Research and Practice (CJMRP) is Canada’s national, peer-reviewed midwifery journal. This professional journal provides a venue for the publication of research relevant to midwives and midwifery practice. It is the official journal of the Canadian Association of Midwives (CAM) and is supported by midwives from all regions of Canada.
Research articles, literature reviews, abstracts, case reports, and articles presenting clinical management strategies will be assessed through the peer review process. The CJMRP also publishes social science research focused on midwives and midwifery from disciplines such as anthropology, economics, education, geography, history, political science, psychology, social policy, and sociology. The CJMRP is primarily interested in material relevant to the profession’s practice, policy and organization.
