The Clifton Golf Club and its members welcome all golfers to enjoy a game at CGC. The par 70 Ross Watson designed layout with 328 grass greens has long been recognised as a great country course in a peaceful natural setting.
Competitive and social players are very welcome. Club membership is available at a very reasonable figure. For further information on events please check out the event calendar.
In 2016 the first stage of the Ross Watson master plan was implemented. 4 new greens and a changed layout on the first 5 holes is a great opening to the round. The new greens and tees are now in superb condition. More recently (Dec 2017) the second stage of the plan has been completed. 4 of the original greens have been modified and a brand new 9th green has been constructed. The new 9th green will be the clubs signature hole and a terrific finish to a round. Upgraded practice areas have also been completed
