Colorado Wingcap’s Mission FROM YESTERDAY TO TODAY The Colorado Wingcap was tasked with three primary missions: Cadet Programs, Aerospace Education, and Emergency Services. Throughout its history, CAP has integrated the Nation’s needs into its mission. We were the Eyes of the Home Skies in 1941 as well as now with America’s Homeland Security mission.
Over 800 volunteers who give selflessly to their communities and their nation make up the Colorado Wing. Through its cadet programs, Colorado Wing offers worthwhile educational options for young people with a focus on aviation and STEM education.
As you progress through CAP’s multi-level cadet training, you’ll learn the principles of aviation and aerospace flight.
