Receiving the Community A.L.E.R.T. youth award at two different times in my life shaped me in becoming the young man I am today. The first time I was a recipient I was an elementary student and the acknowledgment produced confidence at a time when I was an avid tattletale. When acknowledged the second time as a graduating high school senior at Belmont University Curb Center in 2005 I was excited my high school matriculation ended with an exclamation point with my peers and parents cheering me on.Thank you C
