Description: From 15 August until 18 October 2009 - the fourth edition of Contour will take place in Mechelen. This biennial of moving image presents films, videos and installations by visual artists at an international level. The artists present newly commissioned or very recent work, in unique venues in the historical city centre of Mechelen. (BEL). A contemporary artistic city tour that is unique in Europe.

Contour is een even spannende als ontspannende manier om hedendaagse beeldende kunst van internationaal niveau te ontdekken. Contour presenteert film, video en installaties in bijzondere ruimtes in de historische binnenstad van Mechelen, onverwachte of ongebruikelijke plekken die op wandelafstand van elkaar liggen.
Editie 4 draagt de stempel van curator Katerina Gregos. Onder de titel ‘Hidden In Remembrance Is The Silent Memory Of Our Future’ stelt de tentoonstelling indringende vragen over de geschiedenis zoals ze tot ons komt en over het belang ervan.
Contour is goed voor meer dan 5 uur kijktijd. Daarom blijft je ticket de hele duur van de tentoonstelling geldig. Op het startpunt aan het Cultuurcentrum is er een gratis voorproef.
