We are often asked about packing and flying with bicycles. This blog post covers our return to Lisbon, packing up and flying home with bicycles, and our last days of sightseeing.

We cycled a short 2 kilometers from our hotel in Coimbra to the train station, and caught a 9AM train to Lisbon. We arrived mid-day to the Lisbon Oriente Train Station. We chosen to stay in this location for it’s proximity public transportation, shopping, and the airport. Our goal for the next few days was to find bike boxes, pack up our bikes, book transportation to the airport and see some of the sights we’d missed at the beginning of the trip.
