Once upon a time, not so long ago, on a crisp, bright, Christmas eve, my better half and I raised ourselves from our slumber ready to prepare for the festivities the following day. What we found however, was a fridge that had decided to join the ghost of Christmas past and to not bother chilling any of the food that we had just about managed to squeeze inside it.
Luckily, due to the kindness of a local white goods supplier we were able to get a replacement by lunchtime. Sadly despite the excellent level of service, that business is no longer with us.
