DEBORAH R HILL PAINTINGS
I consider myself a contemporary painter working primarily in an abstract-realism style. I find my inspiration in the depth of colour and form in the natural world rural vistas, beach, marsh, although I am equally inspired in the studio setting painting a still life or a animal subject painting. Through differing balances of colour, brushwork and paint application I am most focused in enabling the paint to dictate a "visual roadmap" for the viewer. I have a ongoing theme based body of work titled “The Cross
