The Denver/Lake Norman Rotary was formed in 1995 as a spin-off from the Lincolnton Noon Club.
The Denver/Lake Norman Club helped build Rescue Squad Park across from Lincoln Charter School. The park has ball fields, a large playground, a disc golf course, fitness stations, walking trails, a dog park and a picnic pavilion. The pavilion is the site of Rotary's six free summer live Music in the Park events.
Rotary also sponsors Foster Kids Day at the Lake, a day of fun on the water for foster kids and their families in Lincoln and Catawba County. Dam2Dam, a 60-mile jet ski ride on Lake Norman raises money for the club and the local charities it supports.
