A Premiere Folk Dance School
Dhamak punjab di was founded by friends who share a single vision to elevate the level of bhangra in Calgary. Recognizing the changing landscape of bhangra, we identified a need to provide a different, more evolved and more comprehensive type of instruction to aspiring dancers. More broadly, we all share a desire to expand the reach of bhangra to a wider audience and to adapt the discipline to the 21st century, while truly maintaining and respecting the traditions of the art form.
Our mission at Dhamak Punjab Di is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which the student can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer. Our highly trained and certified instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines.
