I’m D.I. Jolly. Most people call me Jolly.
I was born and raised in South Africa and fell in love with the idea of being a writer when I was around 7 years old. My parents bought a computer from a friend and it came with the game Gabriel Knight. I was probably too young for the game but that didn’t matter to me. I loved the character and decided that he was who I wanted to be when I grew up, and he was a writer. So that’s what I was going to be. Last childhood dream standing but here we are.
