Affiliated to the Scottish Badminton Union, DABA developed from the former Dundee Churches League and now includes clubs in Angus and North East Fife. There are presently sixteen member clubs and teams from these clubs compete in three senior leagues . Matches consist of a mix of gents doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles, with teams comprising three ladies and three gents. Each match consists of nine rubbers of two sets played to 21 points.
