Given these compelling facts, we, the petition signers, demand that the Maryland State Legislature pause the Maryland state gas tax and ask that our governor and state legislators convene a special session immediately to pause the gas tax . The gas tax should remain suspended until one month after the legislature reconvenes in January 2023.
