The East Maine Fire Company (EMFC) was founded and Incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1948. We are corporation run by a Board of Directors elected from the membership on an annual basis. The membership is a group of conscientious individuals, your neighbors, who care for the well-being and safety of our families and yours.
The company protects fire protection district no. 7 in the Town of Maine (eastern half of the town) and fire protection district no.12 in the Town of Union (town line road and Oakdale Road between the Town of Maine line and Village of Johnson City line).
