Description: Ecoplus Systems provide innovative and performance tested suspended ceiling systems
Glass fibre tiles with an NRC 0.85 to 1.0 are suitable for a wide range of applications and meet MoE acoustic requirements for Innovative Learning Environments. Unlike mineral ceiling tiles, 'fissures' are not required in fibre glass tiles to improve sound absorption because the open-celled and lightweight material is naturally sound absorbent. As such, their smooth finish can provide a visually clean surface with a high NRC.
In the depths of Scandinavia, organic moss is carefully hand selected from sustainably managed forest beds - certified by the Environmental Management System Standard 14001 & Quality Standard ISO 9001. The moss will remain looking the same and feeling soft - almost indefinitely. A perfect solution for feature walls and it will increase the Sabin count to your space, so helping to clear out higher frequency noise, and generally assist with good acoustics.
Are you a designer (or a cafe restaurant owner?) weighing up the expense of adding acoustics and your budget is so stripped back, it’s almost naked? Ceilings treatments are a more cost effective option because they don't need to be as robust as applications at ground level and exposed room surfaces like the walls or ceilings will give a larger reduction than would panels on the undersides of tables and chairs.
