The Guild was formed in 1985 by a devoted group of volunteers that wanted to share their unique skills and talents, meet people with similar interests and passions, plus help strengthen local community arts. Volunteers are needed to assist in furthering the Guild's mission of promoting the visual arts and local artists within Elmore County and Central Alabama.

A variety of regular educational and recreational programs are offered for adults.
