Description: EmbraceAbility is a charity for disabled people in Cambodia. We support disabled people and their families by providing community-led empowerment services, therapy, and specialist support.
Providing families living in poverty with accessible information, food, essential medical supplies and menstrual products to ensure no one is left behind during this crisis.
Using the skills of therapists from a range of disciplines, EmbraceAbility delivers tailored therapy and rehabilitation to disabled children in their homes, and in a safe clinical environment at H/Art Academy. We also facilitate referrals to a range of healthcare services in Phnom Penh, ensuring impoverished beneficiaries are given access to all of their healthcare needs.
Our inclusive education programme offers flexible and individualised lessons that help our disabled beneficiaries to integrate into mainstream school classrooms and achieve their educational milestones. EmbraceAbility also provides participatory community workshops that aim to educate, unify, and lift the voices of the communities we seek to benefit.
