Cead Mile Failte … one hundred thousand welcomes to the inaugural year of the Emerald City Irish Film Festival , hosted by the Irish Heritage Club of Seattle.
Formerly known as the Irish Reels, the Emerald City Irish Film Festival has developed an exciting collaboration with Irish Film Institute in Dublin, Ireland and Culture Ireland to share Irish film productions from the “Emerald Isle” with the people of the “Emerald City.”
The excitement continues with the coming together of great Irish film and an iconic Seattle theater. We are pleased to announce the home of the Emerald City Irish Film Festival will be the Pacific Science Center IMAX theater located on the Seattle Center grounds. A space that has been home to the Irish Festival for 27 years will now be home to the Irish film festival.
