The Empire Dragon Boat Team\u2019s mission is to spread awareness of the sport of dragon boating and its benefits to women who have battled cancer. We raise public awareness of issues related to cancer survivorship, we advocate for healthy lifestyles and we provide funding in the fight against cancer.

The Empire Dragons NYC, are New York City’s first and only breast cancer survivor Dragon Boat team focused on building the most successful survivorship paddling program in the tri-state area. While we are primarily a breast cancer team competing in races sanctioned by the International Breast Cancer Paddlers Commission (IBCPC), we welcome all cancer survivors to paddle in non BCS races during our season.
