Description: inventory of plants, photographed in all seasons of the year, along the trail that links the village of Dryden, New York, with Dryden Lake, a three-mile stretch of converted Lehigh Valley Railroad track. The plants include cultivated species (most of them remnants of local orchards), alien species (immigrants which traveled in the steps of the pioneers), and native wetlands and woodland species (survivors of two centuries of radical environmental change).
