After years of donating to the Sumter SPCA Dr. Epps wanted to make a bigger impact on our homeless pet population and with that the Epps Ortho K9-5K was born.
We used what would have been our donation and planned our first 5K. This allowed runners to sign up with 100% of the money going directly to the non-profit. Our race was able to multiply what we would have been able to donate alone and the amount has grown ever since!
Our unique 5K is fun for the entire family. We have a wonderful course that is professionally timed by Strictly Running out of Columbia, SC. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners are announced for each age group.
