The European Pencak Silat Federation (EPSF) is the official body for Pencak Silat in Europe and is the regional representative of PERSILAT (Persekutuan Pencak Silat Antarabangsa), the world governing body for Pencak Silat based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

From 11-13 October, teams from member countries of the EPSF gathered in The Hague The Netherlands, for the Regional Championships which are held every 2 years. The event was hosted by the Netherlands Pencak Silat Federation (NPSF), organised in cooperation with the EPSF, & supervised by PERSILAT. This was the first ever European Open Championships, meaning that not only National Teams, but also member clubs of each country could take part.
