As New Mexico recovers from the effects of the Deep Freeze of ’11 and Sean recovers from the flu, it seems like a good time for newness and updates. Why haven’t I written? Well, school’s been back in session, and those cute little monkeys won’t educate themselves (by “cute little monkeys” I mean “divorced mothers of four,” but it doesn’t have the same ring). Plus, I’m really only awake for about 12 hours a day at this point and it’s hard to cram everything in and we don’t have a DVR so I have to watch “Opra
Things are going well in Breederville. At our last midwife appointment, my belly had expanded by four centimeters. Little Truckstop VonTrapp McHodgeullough continues to be quite the mover. And puncher. And karate kick maker. I have no difficulties imagining him at 3, jumping off the back of the couch, delivering brutal roundhouses to cardboard boxes, his mom-made cape fluttering behind. Or, since it’s now the year of the Rabbit and he’ll be a Pisces, he’ll fidget a lot while reading books about VanGogh and
