EST Lab was established in 1992 to provide the scientific and research community with the highest quality commercial passive samplers. Our goal is to expand and enhance the use of SPMDs & POCIS and establish passive sampling as the most sensitive, accurate and versatile means of assessing contaminants. Dr. Russell L. Smith is the sole owner of EST. Jon Hoppe is the current manager.
SPMD EST Lab is the commercial supplier of SPMDs which provide a measure of bioavailable pollutants in water and air. These passive samplers are the most sensitive technique to monitor and bioconcentrate lipophilic environmental contaminants.
