Hi, my name is Evan Fry. For decades I’ve made a living as an advertising creative, and for the majority of that time, I only cared about winning awards. Though I once supported companies tied to society’s new ‘big tobacco’ – factory animal farming , I had never taken the time to learn what was really going on. Rowdy Mermaid went from bottles to cans, and Jay Ferracane of Angry Bovine and I helped them do so. Aren’t they pretty and clean? And I wrote the copy on the backs of each of these cans. Which I should figure out how to showcase here. But Squarespace and I aren’t the most telepathic of friends.
I launched sharklove.com in 2007 in response to a popular “no sharks” sticker seen in the Northern California surf community that really bothered me. I no longer maintain this site because I’m a flawed imperfect human I guess, so I need to give the keys to someone who wants to take it on and keep it going. Interested? I would like to see it flourish. I have a patent on the sticker and a trademark I would be happy to give to someone who wants to take over Sharklove. LMK.
