Dr Denise Tiran HonDUniv FRCM MSc RM is an internationally acclaimed authority on maternity complementary therapies, having pioneered the subject as a midwifery specialism in the early 1980s. She has been practising, teaching, researching and writing on complementary therapies for pregnancy and birth for almost 40 years.
Denise was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Greenwich in 2020 and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Midwives in 2018 in recognition of her work.
