Description: Help us tear down Europe's rainbow curtain. Join us with bringing about a change for LGBT+ people in the Czech Republic and be part of a historic moment.
Join us with bringing about a change for LGBT+ people in the Czech Republic and be part of a historic moment. Currently, Czech gay and lesbian couples are legally allowed to enter into registered partnerships only. That is, however, not equivalent to getting married.
Registered partnerships make LGBT+ people second-class citizens. Thus, same-sex parents and their children deserve dignity and legal protection. Altogether, there are more than 100 ways in which registered partnerships differ from marriages.
Your support will help us come into the world of marriage equality where we belong. We want Czech policymakers to treat LGBT+ people fairly and recognize their love, rights and responsibilities. Over the last 13 years, the Czech Parliament has failed to find the time to amend the existing legislation on registered partnerships. As a result, we have started campaigning across the country to increase public support for the marriage equality of LGBT+ people.
