FCT Microfinance Bank Limited was granted banking license in January 28, 2012 by Central Bank Of Nigeria(CBN) so as to operate in all the Area councils within the Federal Capital Territory .The Bank IS 100% owned FCT Administration through Abuja Enterprise Agency(AEA). The bank is to provide effective financial services to the active under privileged, low income people, micro enterprise in the rural and urban areas of FCT.
The FCT administration supports the establishment of FCT Microfinance Bank so that it can actualize financial inclusion for the majority of the population. These efforts will in turn help the citizens improve their lives, support education for children, health, standard of living and other economic conditions.
