Born in Cape Town, South Africa, I moved to Israel at the age of eighteen where I studied and received a B.A. in Creative Art at Haifa University. Once finishing my university degree, I moved to Toronto, Canada where I met my husband, Sheldon and had our two children, Jenna and Jonathan. For 20 years, Sheldon and I pursued a business in pottery; Sheldon made the pottery, while I decorated these pieces with the same colorful images that I paint today. We exhibited at art shows in Toronto and across America.
In 2009, I began transitioning from pottery to canvas, pulling inspiration from Matisse, Picasso and Chagall. I continued to experiment with new textures, patterns and designs and in 2016, Sheldon and I decided to move to Florida and exhibit my paintings at art shows.
A year ago, we decided to enter the next stage of our lives in Israel and continue to embark on this artistic journey. We now live in beautiful Zichron Yaakov, a small town one-hour north of Tel Aviv. Since then, all of my sales have been through my website, with help from Zoom and Face-Time. I am so happy to be creating paintings for my customers in the U.S, Canada and Europe.
