The adventure game - a form of entertainment which is a little more gently paced than the frantic chase across a digital battlefield, racetrack or gore-ridden wasteland. And that is why I enjoy them. My advancing years and numbed reactions can just about cope with the sedentary pace of a game which requires me think rather than fight.
