The Blue Star Trail will be a 20-mile paved, non-motorized recreational trail that connects people and communities from Saugatuck to South Haven, Michigan. The Trail improves our residents’ safety, wellness, economic health, and our environment. To learn more about the Trail’s progress find out what’s new here.
Friends of the Blue Star Trail is a 501(c)(3) organization that acts as a catalyst to promote and fund the Trail, in partnership with our local communities. Friends raises money for engineering and local match funding required for state/federal matching construction grants. We also assist the municipalities to prepare and submit applications for state/federal matching grants.
Friends of the Blue Start Trail holds two annual fundraising events. Proceeds from these events are used to secure matching government funds to help build the Blue Star Trail.
