Talk the Talk
Four Acre Trust was founded in 1995 by John Bothamley with profits from the building industry. Our programmes supported schools' extracurricular projects, early intervention work, international eye and water projects but now we are closed as of 31st March 2023. Trustees chose to spend out our capital over recent years and now it’s all gone.
We used our grants on many projects over the last 27 years, mainly supporting smaller charities. A brief history can be found on our Reports Page. A critique of the sector by our founding trustee, John Bothamley, will be published later in the year.
