Description: Friends of Wes Freed is a not for profit group formed to raise money for the Wes Freed Memorial Scholarship Fund at VCUarts at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Wes Freed was a visionary artist and musician best known for his album artwork for the band The Drive-by Truckers. Friends and family want to leave a legacy in his name and help rural Virginia kids go to art school.
