Fritz Geers (* 1995 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld) is a german extreme sports athlete and mountain bike guide from the north german Harz mountains. Fritz Geers has been participating in cycling races since he was 14 years old, and since 2013 in ultra- and extreme cycling races. By winning the Race across Europe 2018 he became WUCA Ultracycling European Champion.
Fritz Geers grew up in the mountain and university town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld and lives there to this day. At the age of 12, he ran a marathon for the first time in a charity run, where he increased his performance over three other participations. As a 15-year-old, he ran 140 kilometers in under 36 hours. For several years he collects podium places in mountain bike marathon races all over Europe in his youth. Since 2015, Fritz has focused exclusively on the cycling discipline of ultracycling . Accompanied by a lot of loneliness, he devotes most of his life to ultra cycling with all his passion and always pushes body and mind to the limits of what is possible .
