人類は宇宙時代に 入ったと言われています。 宇宙ステーションとのテレビ会談も 珍しくありません。 数多くの宇宙探査機が地球に映像を送り 人々は宇宙を理解する機会が 増々ふえるでしょうが、 しかしどれだけ 実感しているのでしょうか。 満月の夜。 原野は明るく足元の花の色や風景が 月光に照らされて見え、 地平線から天体、銀河、宇宙が 一繋がりになって 宇宙の中の地球本来のすがたを見せます。 それは地上で宇宙を実感できる時です。

When you stand in the wilderness under the full moon, the colors of the flowers and the landscape around your feet are illuminated by the moonlight. It's a time when you can see the celestial bodies, the galaxies and the universe all linked together, from the Earth's surface to the horizon. It is the true nature of the Earth in the universe. I have been travelling with the full moon since 1984, capturing the precious moments in which we may perceive the universe here on Earth.
