Fantasy allows us to explore the world around us through the lens of an alternate reality. We can go on a journey from the safety of our own minds, pushing us into uncomfortable situations while seeking to right horrible wrongs. All in the hope of that journey making us, the reader, better human beings.
Storytelling is storytelling, and a well written TV episode or Movie can stir just as much in the audience as a good novel. Actually… scratch that. The book is ALWAYS better. Still, I love writing for both TV and film!
