Well that’s it for another season, all matches completed, and all travelling around the country done – well what did you make of the season under our new owners WAGMI UNITED, their first full season in charge of our football club.
At least we can all now breathe knowing that we will be playing again in the EFL next season when we managed to get across the line with a 0-0 draw on the last Saturday fixture of the season at home against Walsall in front of a great 4189 attendance in the stadium, despite Hartlepool United making a gallant effort to get back on level terms with us with their 3 – 1 win against Barrow.
We started this season full of hope when WAGMI UNITED said we were going for promotion, “We’re All Gonna Make It” – we all thought it was going to be a roller coaster of a season – and it was, rapidly going downhill – with the way we were playing and the results that we were seeing – we had raw talent in the team some who came out of Premier Academies and other brought in on their performance statistics but who had not experience league 2 football and it showed with the mistakes that were being made week
