Hello and thank you for visiting my website. Music has been a lifelong passion, I've been a piano teacher and performing musician for more than twenty years. I am happy to teach people of all ages and abilities. Each of my students follows a dynamic, individual learning plan designed to enable effective and enjoyable musical progress.
My goal is to equip students with the skills, knowledge and mindset to be independent musicians with a lasting interest in playing the piano. This is achieved by developing a range of skills in performance, sight-reading, aural-awareness, composition and improvisation. I use modern teaching methods and books in addition to my own materials, some of which are available as free downloads on the resources page. I teach classical, popular and jazz piano music.
