Who Autonomy was founded in 2015 to play a role in decarbonizing the way we move. We launched the world’s first dedicated sustainable urban mobility trade show; Autonomy & The Urban Mobility Summit in 2016 and wrote the popular Urban Mobility Weekly that was read by 25 000 subscribers. The event was at the forefront of personal mobility and hosted major European cities, transport authorities and innovators who we continue to work with through our City Summit series.
What After producing 9 editions of Autonomy Mobility World Expo it was time to go back to our original mission and find a way to play a greater role in decarbonization. Encouraged by the recent law in France that makes solar on car parks compulsory, the rapid developments in battery storage and electric vehicles, and the recent deployment of AVs, we decided to bring the four most promising decarbonization technologies together in one event; Solar, Batteries, EVs and Autonomous Technology.
Where There is no doubt that Paris is the place to hold such an event. Not only is it the biggest economy in Europe and home to the most Fortune 500 companies, it has also committed to banning all combustion vehicles in 2030, halving CO2 emissions by 2035 and being carbon neutral by 2050.
