Our history is that of a German Pentecostal congregation, but our future is in God's hands! Our vision for our church is to see the blessing of the Lord bring people of all ethnicities and ages together in the love and truth of Jesus Christ! Don't be surprised when you get here that the people are different from those in the scrolling pictures above. Our hope is to see our church flourish into a picture of who God wants us to be, whatever that looks like!
Jesus Christ is the head of the church, but Pastor Klaus Sonnenberg leads and represents our congregation at the Gospel Church Waterloo. He is a warm and loving man who goes out of his way to welcome every person who comes, and to help those who can't make it out on their own. He knows the only thing that qualifies anyone, including him, to come to church is Jesus.
