The International Music Competition "Grand Prize Virtuoso" is open to all nationalities and ages in strings, piano, wind, vocal and chamber music, each discipline is divided into different age categories: Young Musician (8 years old and younger), Junior (9 to 12 years old), Intermediate (13 to 15 years old), Advanced (16 to 18 years old) and Senior (no age limit). Chamber music is divided into three age categories: Group A (under 12 years old), Group B (13-18 years old) and Group C (19 years old and older).
Participants are required to submit video/audio recording materials for the audition. The final selections of winners are based solely on the same recordings submitted. Multiple winners will be chosen in each age category.
A selected group of winners will receive an invitation to debut at the Solitär Mozarteum in Salzburg (Austria) the birthplace of the 18th-century composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on July 30-31, 2023 and/or at Petit Palau del Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona on August 2-3, 2023 The Palau de la Música Catalana is an architectural jewel of Catalan Art Nouveau, the only concert venue in this style to be listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
