So 2020 was pretty crappy year for most people, and 2021 wasn’t a hell-of-a-lot better either, but one thing that changed for the better was the ability to travel again.
And by travel, I mean the best kind of travel: Overlanding across dirt-road borders on a motorcycle. It had a been a long time, but finally it was once again becoming a possibility.
This time, it up the (in)famous Sani Pass into our neighbouring country Lesotho. That being said, ‘neighbouring’ is a strong word when the country is quite literally inside yours. Lesotho is less of a neighbour to South Africa, and more like a squatter in our kitchen. But she is a beautiful, rugged, unique gem of a squatter, and I just can’t keep myself from visiting at every opportunity.
