ABOUT PAULOWNIA PROJECTED METRICS PARTNERS GET INVOLVED Sustainable Plantations for Empowered Communities. Greener Africa is on a mission to implement solutions that further environmental sustainability while also enabling economic prosperity. Our ambitious large-scale paulownia plantation project in The Gambia will create over 50,000 jobs, restore degraded lands, and catalyse a world-className sustainable forestry industry.
Greener Africa was founded in 2005 with the vision of enabling community-led development focused on environmental sustainability. For over 15 years, our team of forestry, agriculture and sustainability experts has worked closely with rural communities across Africa to implement localised solutions that create positive social and ecological impact.
We are committed to developing holistic projects that bring together specialists across disciplines to create integrated strategies tailored to community needs. Our approach emphasises knowledge transfer, capacity building and empowering communities to take charge of their own sustainable futures.
